Jule Cats, having experienced the poignant loss of her own home due to demolition, understands this sentiment all too well. It is from this deeply personal experience that the ‘IN DISGUISE’ series was born.

Jule’s creative vision seeks to capture the beauty and emotional essence of demolished homes by repurposing their rubble into stunning objects. Each piece in the ‘IN DISGUISE’ series is meticulously handcrafted, employing a striking combination of contrasting materials. This intentional juxtaposition prompts feelings of wonder and curiosity, provoking contemplation and reflection.

Crafted from rubble, concrete, and polyester resin, these vases are not just objects; they are a testament to the resilience of memory and the transformative power of art.
