Very even stillness (medium) is a series of wall-mounted sculptures made from wood and mirror-finished steel. Due to their larger size, the objects can function as wall mirrors in a variety of contexts. They may appear individually or as compositions of multiple elements. In each piece, the steel mirror panel is positioned at a different angle, creating an illusion of space and blurring the boundary between the transcendental and the real.
Each object in this series is wall-mounted and can be easily hung in six different orientations thanks to a specially designed hanger. This gives the user the possibility to change the orientation of a single object or an entire composition during use, without the need to re-mount it on the wall.
Because the mirror-polished metal surfaces are sensitive to scratching, special care should be taken when handling and cleaning the objects. The mirror surface should only be wiped with a soft, high-quality microfiber cloth, such as one intended for cleaning eyeglasses or camera lenses.
