The Type Chair is the result of a study aiming to create a chair design independent of material. With its striking form, it seamlessly integrates as a sculptural element into any environment and creates a captivating visual presence.

As an archetypal side chair made of solid European oak, it embodies the essence of simplicity that makes a statement through its form, without being loud – its characteristic features pay homage to right angles and straight lines.

With a rectangular seat, a distinctive backrest, and expressive proportions, it is a timeless piece of design. The Type Chair challenges traditional notions of furniture and stimulates discussions about aesthetics, design, and functionality. Despite not having an inclined backrest or seat, it impresses with its avant-garde and experimental design.

This chair is handcrafted from local oak and finished with a natural wax oil, giving the surface a smooth, satin character.
