Born in 1993 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Chandler McLellan is a trained carpenter and cabinetmaker with an academic background in archaeology. Since 2018, he has worked as a full-time artist, merging technical expertise with a refined artistic sensibility. Now based in California, his practice explores the intersection of craftsmanship and sculptural form, often blurring the lines between functional design and conceptual art.
McLellan’s work has been featured in leading publications such as Vanity Fair, Elle Decor, Grazia, New York Post, Hypebeast, RUM, Ark Journal, and more. He collaborates with renowned design houses including Troy Lighting and Claude Home, bringing his distinctive aesthetic to a broader design audience.
His creations have also appeared in major film and television productions, including those by HBO, Amazon Prime Video, and ABC Studios—underscoring the cultural resonance and visual strength of his work.
