Description

A collaboration between the chandelier manufacturer Bakalowits and the designer, Anna Zimmermann. Together, we set out to uncover the hidden allure of chandeliers by shifting our focus to an element often overlooked — the hook.
Inspired by the bends and contours found in Bakalowits‘ metal structures, traditionally employed in their chandeliers, we crafted a collection of functional and sculptural hooks. Based on the hooks we further extended the series and developed lamps using the same form language. Using ordinary steel profiles, we seamlessly merged practicality with artistic finesse.
Each unique object carries its charm, born out of meticulous production. Produced in small series in Vienna.
This collection is based on the Passionswege cooperation of Vienna Design Week.
