Tavole di Marmi by Berenice Curt Architecture is a furniture collection designed through the exploration of unexpected combinations of shapes that embrace the nature and simplicity of materials, resulting in unique creations. The module is inspired by the Japanese torii, adding a sense of lightness, culminating in a sculptural aesthetic.
Marble, prized for its solidity and large-scale patterning, is primarily used in large and mass formats, often resulting in many unused offcuts. Since 2021, our extensive project to restore a 17th-century villa in Lucca has brought our practice closer to the world of marble workers and their craftsmanship. These Tuscan quarries became the first environment where this material valorization approach emerged.
Natural marble from Tuscany, polished on each face with chamfered edges. Polished stainless steel structure made in France. The table is assembled in our workshop in Paris.
This table can be made from many different types of marble. Please contact us for any bespoke requests.
