Description

These marble sculptures are inspired by the relationship between planets and their ring systems. They combine different types of marble to create balanced sculptures that question the heaviness of the material. The pieces of the puzzle are water jet trimmed in order to create extremely precise objects with complementary and nestable lines.

This specific sculpture, Stone Edge I, is made of Vert de Laponi, Vert des Alpes, and Luna Agatha marbles. Two shapes are fixed together, while the black circle is removable, fixing the balance of the sculpture.
