Description

Self Dissolution ~ Glass sculptures that drip, melt, and transform into the unknown. Shaped by the cycles of nature, each piece captures a moment of tension between the dissolution of the self and the creation of something new. They exist in an ambiguous state of flux. Is this an era of ruin or renewal? Are they disintegrating or emerging? These pieces fracture or coalesce, depending on the eye that beholds them. The answer shifts, like the glass itself.

Unique decorative glass sculpture.
Contact with water and other liquids is not recommended, they may permanently damage the piece.

About PIA GLASSWORKS Visit Showroom →

Experimental Argentine artist based in Barcelona, born in 1992 and part of the queer community. My work focuses on flame-working with blown glass, exploring a non-existent dreamlike world based on dreams and the creation of other realities. Through innovative techniques and a multidisciplinary approach, I aim to challenge conventions and offer a profound reflection on identity and diversity. My pieces not only highlight the fragility of the material but also evoke a sense of resilience and connection to the multiple realities that coexist within our experience.
