The chair 1901 was conceived with the objective of creating unique and simple seating.
Their style is very close to tropical Brutalism, characterized by the use of raw and exposed materials, with an emphasis on geometric shapes and functional design.
It also highlights the use of natural materials, and the integration with the environment resonates with contemporary values of sustainability.
With sophisticated manufacturing, capable only by the use of robots that create perfect fits for the wooden pieces, artisans are also involved in the final process of each piece.
The line is made of Patagonian wood, vegetable tanned leather and 3D printed insets.
The chair was launched at ICFF fair in 2019 and Wanted design + ICFF 2022 during the New York design week.
