Description

“Plots” is a composable storage system. Symmetric, disturbed, regular, fanciful, organized, in equilibrium, simple, destructured: the shelf can evolve from a small to a large dimension by multiplying the components.

The natural cracks on the coloured units is highlighted by the glossy and flashy colour. The shelves are tinted in black with a matte finish to create a visual and bold contrast. The product you will get contains: 20 coloured units, 2 large shelves (200 cm), 2 medium shelves (115 cm), 3 small shelves (86 cm), 5 small discs to associate 2 units, and 3 large discs to make the feet. The shelves are perforated to allow different compositions, from largest to small.

Glossy lacquered pine tree naturally cracked (RAL colour on demand) and black tinted oak shelves with matte oil finish.

The design duo Studio BrichetZiegler, founded in 2010 by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, built up through exchange and dialogue to make an open think tank, where poetry, materials, and forms express with freedom. Coloured, graphic and expressive, they design evocative objects, in which the material is highlighted as much as the uses. In 2015, they are among the first French designers to launch a self-made collection, called By Hands. A family of objects and small furniture, imagined, designed, and hand-made in their workshop, in limited edition. Objects with a precise and sensitive finish, with several materials mixed around manual and delicate techniques. Copper, wood, leather, concrete, paper or steel are designed in a generous and expressive way according to different techniques. Caroline and Pierre let the material express itself, they enhance it.
