Description

Concrete, a textile brick, and a soft, almost elastic material come together in a bold composition side table. The strength of concrete is balanced by the softness of foam, all highlighted by our upcycled azure blue textile. This piece, both a sculpture and a seat, embodies the meeting of robustness and comfort. The strap, visible and assertive, holds the ensemble firmly while showcasing the duality of the materials: one raw, the other soft. A centerpiece of the collection, it invites contemplation while remaining functional. A subtle balance between strength and softness, between form and function.

//

The story of FabBRICK is that of Clarisse Merlet, founder and architect driven by a passion for innovation. By reinventing textile upcycling, she gave birth to FabBRICK—a unique material that transforms fabrics into artistic and elegant bricks. With her background in architecture, Clarisse has skillfully combined creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for materials to design a product that is both aesthetic and innovative. From this inspiring idea, FabBRICK has grown into a creative studio based in Paris’s 19th arrondissement. With a large production workshop and a close-knit team of about ten people, the studio continues to push the boundaries of innovation in art and design. Each project is an invitation to redefine space, where every brick tells a story and every creation becomes a work of art.
