    Sebastián Beltrán's work is characterized by its circular and monochromatic narrative, where each piece weaves together elements that delicately and consistently reference the industrial, aqueous, labor-related, temporal, and procedural. Materials such as steel, cement, resins, and simple mechanisms come to life in his creations, resulting in hypnotic works that explore the relationship between form and function. His dual professional focus, which merges art and design, allows him to move fluidly between the two disciplines, using each as a source of inspiration for the other. This versatility has enabled him to transcend formal and object-based limitations, producing pieces that blend functionality, aesthetics, and profound conceptual depth. Sebastián Beltrán is a visual artist and designer, as well as the founder and creative director of Natural Urbano, a Mexican brand specializing in the design and manufacturing of contemporary lighting and furniture. Together with his wife, Lorena Márquez, a graphic designer, he has brought to life a brand that seamlessly combines creativity, functionality and a deep connection between art and design. His studio is located in the city of León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
