Description
This low table pairs our signature solid bronze Jupiter castings with 3.175 cm Cast Glass. Honouring central-eastern Canada’s manufacturing heritage, the Jupiter legs are cast in sand- the same process used to produce machine parts for heavy industry. The sand-casting process produces faintly perceptible irregularities that enhance the leg’s tactile appeal.
The planetary name pays homage to the subtitle of Mozart’s last symphony- a favorite of the client who commissioned the first Jupiter table- defined by its many different expressive and compositional contrasts.
Rectilinear or organic shapes can be cut within the noted dimensions, without incurring additional costs.
