Description

[Invisible Chair Series]

From the designer, lee hyokk:

“Invisible Panton Chair” pays homage to the Panton Chair, designed in 1967 by Danish designer Verner Panton. Its smooth curves meet a steel fence to create a quiet urban presence.

One day, while wandering through the prison of algorithms, I grasped the rope of meditation. My time finally became my own. Just as I filled time with rest and meditation, I tried to fill space with non-stimulating elements. Everyone wants to be the protagonist, but some cannot be. The fence that must protect the protagonist is born from such a fate. Sometimes, its very existence goes unnoticed. Even if it peels, bends, or rusts, it can still safeguard the protagonist.

The “Invisible Chair” series is a project by lee hyokk that conceals chairs within the structure of the fence. Due to its inherent destiny, it’s not easy to spot, but if you happen to discover an Invisible Chair, we hope you take the time to rest in that space.

You can sit on the chair comfortably, and you can order it in different colors.
It includes connecting accessories and two pillars.
