Forged from molten metal, this sculptural head stands as a meditation on vulnerability and defense. The cast surface is intensely textured, with shards and folds articulating the features in raw, uneven relief. Pockets of voids and punctures break through the structure, suggesting erosion or wounding. Here, skin becomes armor, and armor becomes skin — a protective shell that is at once decaying and enduring. These ruptures read as testaments to passage, damage, and resilience, tracing the fragile boundary between shielding and exposure. Frozen in its moment of corrosion, the form embodies a restless negotiation between strength and fragility.
