Description

This ceramic vase is defined by soft asymmetry and painterly gesture. A pale, mineral ground is interrupted by green stroke glaze markings that move across the surface like a slow, deliberate brushstroke. The glaze pools, thins, and darkens in places, creating variation in tone and texture that feels both intentional and intuitive. Subtle crackling and surface movement reveal the heat of the firing, while the form remains grounded and quiet. The piece balances restraint with expression, allowing the glaze to function as both mark and material, image and residue.
