This Folding Screen is part of the Noce Collection, a series within the Family Project line that continues the exploration of portraiture through furniture and furniture friends. This piece extends the concept into the realm of spatial layering and subdivision, creating a movable surface that offers both function and character.
Crafted from stained birch plywood, the screen balances lightness with strength, allowing it to be easily repositioned while maintaining a sense of presence. Measuring approximately 130 cm in width and 150 cm in height, it provides ample coverage for defining or re-configuring areas within a room, while remaining compact and flexible to fold away when not in use.
Its distinctive detail lies in the rhythm of its panels. Each surface acts as both partition and portrait, providing character and inviting interpretation within a space. The hinges allow for flexibility, enabling the screen to stand in different configurations, from subtle bends to full enclosures, offering a dynamic dialogue between openness and privacy.
The Folding Screen is delivered in a flat pack and is easily assembled by the final user without any screws. Its stained finish and clean lines allow it to adapt to a variety of interiors, where it can serve as a functional divider, a backdrop, or an expressive piece of furniture art.
This piece is made to order and is therefore non-returnable once production begins, in line with Adorno’s return policy.
