This stool is inspired by the flowers of Henry Matisse, extruded upwards to create the shape of a side table or stool. It is handcrafted using multiple layers of glaze to achieve a uniform color.
This piece is hand-built out of stoneware with grog from Catalonia (Spain) and hand-painted with stoneware glaze.
Each object is subtly distinctive, and variances in color intensity and weight bring to the piece a very unique and special character.
