The plexiglass, inherently playful, evokes sensations akin to a collection of ice cubes or sugar-coated candies—enticing viewers to touch and explore its unique texture.
By leveraging the material properties inherent in the Chesterfield sofa’s classic aesthetic, the designer aimed to create a sensory experience reminiscent of the interplay between light and shadow. When light interacts with the material, it reveals both clarity and subtle, shadowy nuances, akin to the tactile sensations one might encounter while appreciating the timeless charm of a Chesterfield sofa.
