Description

This table by Mike Hausmann is designed with a cross-shaped stretcher structure that passes through the legs using a double through mortise and tenon joint reinforced with wedges. This highly resistant joinery ensures great durability for the piece.
It features a thin tabletop, which has a beveled edge to make it appear even finer. When combined with the thick legs and the visible joinery detail, it lends the piece a sense of nobility and craftsmanship. The tabletop is screwed onto the stretchers.
