Description

As part of the collection of the Amadeus family, the Leopold stool carried out the same design language and philosophy with a simple yet powerful design. The symmetric shape of the stool establishes the sturdiness which also assembles the design of the lower structure of Amadeus chair.

Born in 2000, Wang Yichu is a new emerging designer and artist currently studying at Rhode Island School of Design. He always enjoy the environment and the materials around him, which inspired him to translate interesting forms and materials into his work. He categorize his work as “21st century Rococo”, in order to describe his playful and glamorous style. He was also influenced deeply by musics of Mozart, which he also consider as one of his inspirations. He was featured in the 2021 exhibition of Brown University “the stories objects tell” and 2022 edition of Lake Como Design Festival.
