Description

A column of light, standing still but breathing.

Tall, porous, glowing from within. The Alherd Floor Lamp is less a fixture and more a vertical gesture—like a tree in a corner, like a beam of sunlight caught in a bottle. Printed from corn-based, recyclable PETG, every segment is unique. No repetition, no industrial sameness.
Light as a memory. Light as material. Light as a presence.

Alherd lamp was developed in the intersection of code, matter and nature. It started not with a sketch, but with a question: how can light feel like erosion? Like coral? Like something that didn’t begin as design, but as a pattern life itself once used?

At YET:FAB, we don’t shape objects—we grow them. The Alherd collection is the result of that slow, intentional process. Each lamp is made not only to illuminate, but to soften, to warm, to ground a space.
The Alherd Floor Lamp is a sculptural light object, designed and fabricated by YET Fab. Inspired by coral formations and erosion patterns, it glows from within like a mineral lit by the sun. The lamp is digitally grown, 3D printed, and hand-finished in our studio in Tel Aviv.
The body is 3D-printed using a translucent polymer and finished in either Gradient Pitch — with a subtle shift from deep amber to milky white — or in a fully Translucent version. Inside, a 120 cm or 150 cm T8 LED tube is seamlessly integrated, offering efficient illumination while emphasizing the verticality of the form. Despite its scale, the lamp is freestanding, designed to stand on the floor without additional support. The piece functions both as a light and a spatial element — somewhere between furniture and natural architecture — creating a warm, ambient presence in any interior.

About YET FAB Visit Showroom →

YET FAB is a design and fabrication studio founded by Anastasiya and Ilya Kotler, working at the intersection of architecture, digital fabrication, and material development. Rooted in a strong architectural background, the studio explores how computational tools, advanced material research, and handmade processes can come together to create spatial experiences and sculptural pieces. Operating as the experimental arm of YET Architecture, YET FAB functions as both a lab and workshop. Here, objects are not just produced—they are discovered through a constant dialogue between code and craft, simulation and touch. The studio’s practice is deeply process-driven: each project begins with curiosity and evolves through physical testing, iteration, and an intuitive response to material behavior. YET FAB's work ranges from large-scale installations to furniture and lighting objects, unified by a shared interest in form, light, and atmosphere. Materials are treated not just as surfaces or structure, but as active participants in shaping perception. From translucent 3D-printed geometries to handmade paper constructions, each piece aims to challenge conventional boundaries between digital and tactile, technical and poetic. Based between architecture, art, and fabrication, YET FAB aims to contribute to a new design language—one that embraces imperfection, responds to context, and values the ambient qualities of space and object alike.
