Whymsicals is a glass research studio and fabrication lab that pushes the boundaries of the material through technical and conceptual experimentation in the scale of architecture, art and design. Through research on natural growth, material prototyping and interdisciplinary collaboration, glass creations express motion and respond to their context through form, color and composition. Whymsicals explores kiln forming techniques using industrial glass sheets and molds to create compositions that capture motion in nature.
Founded by Raghad AlAli, an architect, designer and glass artist, drawing inspiration from structures of nature through material research and digital fabrication.
