Biography |
Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at PUC-Campinas, Rahyja has worked for renowned architecture offices such as TEN Arquitectos in New York, and Aflalo and Gasperini and Bernardes Jacobsen in Sao Paulo. Delighted with the world of Design, she went to Denmark to take a course in Furniture Design in Copenhagen. On her return to São Paulo she opened a multidisciplinary studio in Vila Mariana. Her first pieces, SE7E chair and armchair won the ICFF STUDIO AWARD – NEW YORK, in May 2013. Based on the logical structure of each material, her working method is guided by aesthetics, functionality and simplicity.
Nowadays she manages her time between Architecture, Interiors and Design inspired by the philosophy "live well, in loving ambiences."
