Guido Ooms & Karin van Lieshout, collectively known as OOOMS, are a Dutch design duo known for creating distinctively unique products that always emphasize functionality as well as aesthetics. Having both graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven, they strive to create designs that are as innovative as they are visually alluring. The two designers have completely different personalities, and they therefore complement each other impeccably: Guido’s high-spirited approach to his work ensures that new ideas are constantly being invented, while Karin’s sensible and down-to-earth sensibility ensures that these ideas become a reality. Beyond product design, the duo shares their knowledge by arranging creative workshops around the world, and both teach at the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht and the Design Academy Eindhoven. Their latest social project, "Ffrash," gave them the opportunity to combine their love for interior products with the possibility to educate and learn from the former street children of Jakarta.
