My art and design practice has developed out of the passion of glass blowing. Blowing glass is very much a bodily experience and the choreography of glass calls for full presence, both physically and mentally. It´s an exercise in responsiveness, timing and teamwork. An intense togetherness that suits both my personal temperament as well as the artistic situations I want to create.

My knowledge and practice with glassblowing began in the historical glass region of Småland, Sweden. It has influenced my work, both in the techniques I use and the aesthetic expressions I deal with. For the functional objects I design I always strive to create something that will bring the extraordinary in to an everyday situation. Something that will call for instant attention and stir a conversation.
