Laura Fiig works as an independent designer, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is particularly interested in working within the field of light and lamps and with materials such as fabric and paper. She has a background in fashion which is expressed in how she works with shape and construction. Her designs are often based on a traditional craft but are paired with a new element. Her way of creating new objects is very hands-on and is based on creating a balance between shape, color and material.
