Aileen Judith De La Ree Valencia is a designer and maker committed to expanding beyond the constraints of a singular narrative. Through explorations of her own culture and lived experience, she creates narrative-driven furniture and art that contributes to a landscape of diverse perspectives.

Her practice explores themes of pluralism, decolonization, imperfection, and preservation of the ornate and unusual. Each piece embodies a curiosity for how design can push beyond contemporary limits by reaching into the practices of the past, then preserving, transforming, and breathing new life into them for the present.
