Founded in 2020 by four friends who shared a common design philosophy, Project 213A is a European design house that came to fruition with its official launch in September 2021. The brand’s mission is to create contemporary and distinctive furniture and home accessories that not only withstand the test of time but also champion sustainability.

The name “Project 213A” pays homage to a London-based address where each of the four founders resided at different points during their studies, holding sentimental value for them. This iconic building is featured prominently in the brand’s logo, situated above a launderette.

Project 213A’s commitment to responsible manufacturing is evident in every product. This bench, with its comfortable cushion, is produced in select Portuguese factories and family-run workshops, embracing a conscientious approach to production that minimizes waste while upholding the values of craftsmanship and comfort.

The name of the brand “Project 213A” refers to a London based address where all four founders each have lived in - at different times throughout their studies. The building is featured prominently within the logo where their home stood, above a launderette. Each product is responsibly manufactured in selected Portuguese factories and family run workshops to provide a considerate way of production while minimising wasteful practices.
