About Taiki Taikov Visit Showroom →

WHY & HOW It is a conceptual utility design with no primacy of form or idea. There is a rhythm. A colour. A shape. An aura. I play with meaning, the centre of gravity, the essence of things and thoughts. I create because there is a spark between the object and me. I build from rarely combined materials, points of view, forms and assumptions. I want to have fun in the creative process and that gives me confidence. This belief is constituted by every single hand-made concept transformed into an object. I seek peculiar constructions for plain ideas. I look for balance, but I do not hold the balance between art and design. The experience of an interior designer allowed me to see the right space for the object. A balance between form and context. The texture and temperature of the colours. Amidst abstractness and functionality. What I like the most in interiors is the trembling of the air caused by the dynamics of colours and textures.
