Description

An evolution of Dhruvkant Amin’s iconic Ripple Center Table, The Ripple 2.0 by Tectona Grandis Furniture reimagines a design legacy eight years in the making. Its stone base supports a precisely crafted reclaimed teak wood top, the center of which is subtly carved in stone, echoing the gentle rhythm of rippling water.
The interplay between the warmth of aged wood and the solidity of stone creates a quiet contrast—bold in presence, yet elegant in expression.
Rooted in tradition and shaped for contemporary living, The Ripple 2.0 reflects our commitment to conscious design and thoughtful craftsmanship. More than just furniture, it is a celebration of heritage, sustainability, and the enduring value of work made by hand.

Crafted from reclaimed Teak wood and natural Indian Marble, with each piece finished by hand. Includes three solid white Marble spheres. Assembly required.

About Tectona Grandis Furniture Visit Showroom →

Tectona Grandis Furniture (TGF) is the result of a rich, evolving journey through design. With over two decades of cross-disciplinary practice — spanning interiors, exhibitions, and public environments — TGF was born out of a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a deep respect for materials and making. Founded in 2015 by Dhruvkant Amin, a trained furniture designer from the National Institute of Design, the studio was shaped by his instinct for proportion, form, and contextual thinking. Shortly after, Jalpa Amin brought in strategic and operational depth through her background in mathematics, textile production, and training from the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Together, they’ve built more than a furniture studio — they’ve built a culture. One grounded in process, people, and purpose. At TGF, design is both a responsibility and a craft. The studio’s design language is restrained yet expressive — rooted in proportion, integrity, and enduring value. While teak remains its emotional and material anchor, TGF works across materials to create thoughtfully engineered, tactile, and timeless pieces. Today, TGF operates a 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility and a 15,000 sq. ft. experiential gallery in Ahmedabad, supported by a growing team and a loyal client base across 40+ cities. With a roadmap of collaborations, capsule collections, and design residencies, TGF continues to grow with intention — staying true to its ethos of trust, timelessness, and thoughtful evolution.
