About Maitoinen Home Visit Showroom →

Born and raised in Istanbul, Zehranur Balcı Kıyıcı is inspired by nature aesthetics and daily routines. After receiving degrees in Plastic Arts and Cultivation of Ornamental Plants, her internship at Monet’s Garden made clear that her passion is creating with hands and seeing understated details and quiet beauty, just as in Monet’s garden and nature itself. When she settled back in Istanbul, opened her atelier in a little neighbourhood in 2019. Since the beginning, most of her works are contemporary and made in small quantities, changing by the seasons. Today, you can find ceramic objects, tableware and furniture under her brand Maitoinen Home.
