Description

“Light Matter II” is a sculptural object working around the concept of duality and the balance between strength and fragility, light and matter. Often bricks are perceived as rough and strong for construction purposes, but here the same brick appears deformed by the delicate light weighted bulb giving the impression of being heavier. The use of the material contrast is intentional to raise a reflection about how limited the human visual perception is of the material world.

Light Matter II is a sculpture made of one unique handmade deformed brick and one light bulb.
