This handcrafted wall light by Katia Langeard is one of the first prototypes of the L’Été Sconce series. Its form is slightly more curved than the final version, which is why it remains a prototype. Nevertheless, it still provides a warm, inviting glow and functions beautifully. The piece is finished with a striking grey texture that adds depth and character.

Wired for European 220-240 V voltage. Bulb (not included): E14 5W max. The wall light is not dimmable.

Katia Langeard is a ceramic artist and designer living and working in France, Èze. She has grown up in a creative environment in a family of architects, surrounded by the paintings, sculptures, furniture and lighting created by her grandfather, acclaimed soviet architect Oleg Goryachev. She studied architecture in Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy) and devoted many years to career in architecture and interior design in Russia and Europe leaving her native country in 2012. In 2019 – 2023 she was learning pottery at the studio of Stephne Montalto, winner of Best Craftsman of France (MOF). Starting 2023 she is opened her studio and creating ceramic lighting and small furniture influenced by her architectural background. She participated in ceramic residency in Vallauris and she had two group expositions in France. Her works are located in A.I.R. Vallauris public collection and in private collections in France.
