Forma Prima is one of the first pieces that gave birth to the Neorganica / Metallogenesi collection — the starting point of a research that merges living matter, organic forms, and metallic finishes.

The brushed Noir marble top, with its warm and deep veins, meets a hand-crafted iron structure with wavy legs and a rose-chrome finish, giving the metal a fluid and almost biological character.
The result is a balance between elegance and experimentation, where the contrast between stone and metal transforms into visual and tactile harmony.

Nicola Di froscia is the third generation in a family of marble workers who have devoted their skills to the family firm, Di Froscia Marmi. Young Nicola grew up in the workshop, exposed since childhood to the complexity of marble work. However, while he did eventually join the family activity, he did so in his own time. He spent several years in England and became a blacksmith. Today he runs DFdesignLab, his own venture, in which he combines the knowledge of his marble legacy and his new knowledge of metal. The result is a modern craft that fuses tradition and innovation.
