Description

Foret is a work of exploration in cast aluminum. The object, whether a lamp or a shelf, is drawn into the sand mould by hand using a drill. It’s a return to slowness, where randomness has a real place in the object’s purpose. Each lamp has a different number of prongs, each of slightly varying length, due to the manufacturing process. The most appropriate way to use and install the lamp is either directly on a piece of furniture, or fixed as a wall lamp.
