That’s Bananas is a series of handblown glass vases inspired by the Cavendish banana—a fruit that’s globally recognized, mass-produced, and found in homes around the world. These vases explore how something so familiar can also carry a complex story of trade, transformation, and cultural erasure. The colorful vases celebrate the exotic, tropical appeal often associated with imported goods, while the clear vase represents what gets lost in the process: context, history, and identity. Each vase is individually handblown, resulting in subtle variations that make every piece unique in its details. While styles can be repeated, no two are exactly alike.
Each piece is signed and numbered, and made in limited quantities.
