Description

Basis Rho was developed by the studio Jeschkelanger. An artistic material from the remains of international art and architecture productions. Jeschkelanger – themselves glass artists – came across many tons of glass waste, thousands of lumps, each one unique. Each chunk is bound into its own fine concrete recipe and thus becomes an irregular window in the coloured stone.

The Basis Rho CRCLE is an object, platform, and atoll for random and curated still lifes in classy homes. This unique piece combines an emerald green stone with crushed red grapes in concrete.

About BASIS RHO Visit Showroom →

Jeschkelanger is an artist duo founded by Marie Jeschke & Anja Langer in 2016. The duo is internationally successful with their experimental art installations and interventions with and on glass. They started with a series of alienated glass plates, which circulate between beeing table tops, wall paintings or paravents. With their works, Jeschkelanger go beyond the boundaries of art, design and architecture and plead for an Oeuvre without traditional categories!
