About the designer

As a textile designer and weaver I\'m always exploring the different feels of materials and the ever-changing world of colours. My work is playful and stems from curiosity and intuition. My main focus has always been to shine a new light on old ideas - to twist and turn the imagination and see potential in the things we discard. That\'s why I often focus on reusing old fabrics and make visible reparations - to make the old beautiful. I graduated from Design School Kolding 1999 and the school of jacquard-weaving - Fondazione Arte Dela Seta Lisio - in Florence 1998.
