THe Ca_01 candelabra by Leo Maher Crafted from the remnants of a terracotta construction brick, reminiscent of those found scattered along Mediterranean shores. The brick has been ground to imitate the chattering of similar materials, churned by the sea into pebbles. Partially encased in concrete, another naturally ground terracotta pebble is embedded alongside it. An internal metal armature ensures the piece’s strength and durability. A visible steel armature extends from the side, supporting a bronze spike crafted through lost-wax casting.
CA_01 is more than a functional object; it is a storyteller. It invites you to gather around the flickering flame, where myths and legends come alive.
The base provides ample weight to ensure sturdiness. All elements of the piece can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
