Drawing from the deeply furrowed ironbark texture shaped by time, this sculptural table by Studio Kaytar captures nature’s raw beauty in solid aluminum, crafted using the traditional sand casting method. The rich bark texture contrasts with the smooth high-gloss mirror finish of the tabletop and detailing, balancing the organic with the refined.

Each unique ripple and pit, formed through the hand-casting process, adds to the piece’s individuality. Over time, the surface will naturally develop a patina, deepening its character. Alternatively, it can be restored to its original brilliance with a simple polish, offering two distinct expressions of its evolving form.

This solid metal piece is sand-cast by hand. The unique ripples and pitting in the material are to be celebrated for their individual beauty. Raw aluminum, brass, and bronze will naturally develop a patina over time, adding to their inherent beauty. If desired, a high-quality metal polish can restore its original brightness and shine.

Clean with water and soft microfiber cloth when required.
