Description

ÁTOMO table lamp was designed for the Atomic collection by Mexican artist Isabel Moncada.

Átomo is perfect to give a touch of silent light, almost like a sparkle. The simplicity of its globe is enough, a luminous core that floats. It uses a low-watt LED light that lasts up to 18 years and saves 90% of energy consumption.

Turned and brushed brass base with solid steel counterweight and matte finish, pearl white blown glass sphere.

All of Isabel Moncada’s lighting is UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certified, which ensures a high standard of safety and quality.

Isabel Moncada is a Mexican designer who specializes in the design of lighting fixtures made in her own workshop in Mexico. For more than 30 years she has explored and implemented ancient techniques of artisan manufacturing, developing different crafts, inventing mechanisms and transforming materials to improve the performance, quality and design of her pieces. She began to venture into the art world in the 1990s. While working for some established sculptors in Guadalajara, she set up her own studio at home and began to approach design with an artistic style that evolved into engineering, mechanics and 3D modeling.
