These vessels are part of an ongoing series called “Reliquary for the Deconsecrated”. Each form draws from the shape of a bodice, tight, protective, ornamental, and was created using blown hot glass, and glass powders to evoke the translucency and texture of the skin. This vessel is named after Amelia Bloomer, the advocate against restrictive corsetry. Accessorized by Bond Hardware, blown glass made with the help of Sticky glass.
