The price for exhibiting will depend on the size and amount of pieces you are invited to show. The fee will not include tax as we use reverse charge for EU participants.
The participation fee is due upon acceptance to secure your place.
We will organise the shipping to and from Copenhagen, and forward you our best shipping rate.
Pieces shipping from the EU will not have import duties and taxes.
For pieces coming from outside the EU we ship pieces DDP to import taxes and duties will be charged upfront to ensure smooth entry. If the piece is sold in Denmark, we will add these costs to the price of the piece. If it ships back out of Europe, we will claim the import duties back.
We have 4 days to build up the exhibition before the launch on the 18th June, so we expect to have your pieces in Copenhagen on the 14th of June at the latest. Depending on where you are shipping from, please expect to have your piece packed and ready for shipping at these deadlines:
Americas & Asia: June 1st
Europe & Middleeast: June 7th
The commission is the same as we currently charge online corresponding with your Adorno membership.
At Adorno we have close ties to journalists, and get featured frequently in high-profile publications. We will also host a press preview for our contacts to see the show a day before the opening.
We expect to have high-res images of your pieces, and have them uploaded the Adorno platform to populate our press kit on by May 14th at the latest.
Inquiries can take time to close, and if your piece doesn’t sell immediately at the fair, you have the choice to ship it back, or keep it with Adorno in Copenhagen until sold.
No, but you are welcome to join us! Adorno will staff the exhibition and make sure your piece is shown and presented from it’s best angle. We have been doing this for years, and will make sure to gather, compile and follow up on all the interest we get for your piece.
We understand this is a common question. ADORNO has worked to price the participation fee as fairly and affordably as possible, ensuring designers can showcase pieces of different sizes and price points. Additionally, we are working to streamline logistics and reduce shipping costs by managing transportation directly.
Yes, we reserve the opportunity to participate for active Adorno members. If you’re not yet a member and wish to be considered for inclusion, please submit your application, and we will get back to you if we see a fit.
Yes! We will have four ADORNO team members onsite to take inquiries and present your piece. If you participate we look forward to meeting you in person during the exhibition.
