Born in Rome, Valentina Cameranesi Sgroi currently lives in Milan where she works as art director and set designer.
Her Personal research leads to develop objects and spaces with a primary interest about forms and natural materials, in combination with an evolving focus on timeless pieces, evoking primitive yet refined shapes
She has been collaborating with Pretziada, Sem, Bloc Studios and Karpeta.
Gathering inspirations from different fields, one of the aspect of her practice  is the relationship between objects and human body forms trying to convey objects to be seen, and touched.

Each piece is the result of a long investigation on shapes and tests and experiment to refine the idea in collaboration with talented and careful artisans.
