With over two decades of experience in architecture and interior design, Sona has earned recognition across India’s design landscape, with accolades including the AD 100 and ID Honours. Her portfolio spans luxury residences, hospitality spaces, and experiential retail, all unified by her distinct approach to spatial storytelling and material honesty.
She first founded Room Therapy in Hyderabad — a much-loved furniture and lifestyle store that stood at the intersection of functionality and artistic expression for nearly a decade. In recent years, she evolved it into Room Therapy Collective: a design-forward gallery showcasing bespoke furniture and objects from boutique studios across India. Every piece is treated as a work of art — rooted in tradition, refined through modern design, and made to last generations.
