I have a bachelors degree in design, with ceramics as material.
The material part of my degree is a big part of my professional identity, as I only ever create in clay.
As a crafts-person I mainly use my material as an investigation of the inside- and outside world.
I seek to know and fully understand my material, which is also why I tend to challenge the material quality of clay in my works.
