Rasmus Warberg trained as a carpenter before enrolling in the Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied furniture design. A year abroad at the Osaka Seikei University of Art and Design in Japan informed his visual language and his aesthetic philosophy, which draws both from his roots in Scandinavian design and from the way of Japanese craftsmen.
