Oneseo Choi is a designer and visual artist based in Korea. He explores the latent aesthetic possibilities in functional objects. By discovering unexpected sensory qualities in overlooked elements such as industrial materials or manufacturing processes, he connects these findings with new media, spaces, and discourses. He then builds a unique narrative and sculptural language, which he presents through exhibitions. Through this practice, he redefines the scope of utility or distances himself from it, employing humor to rearrange the hierarchical perceptions of everyday life.
