Biography |
Matteo Silverio is a Venice-based architect and researcher, expert in computational design and digital fabrication.
During his professional career, he has collaborated with several international renewed offices, performing a lead design and project management role on various innovative projects. He has been involved in top designs such as the Baku National Library (with A.I. Progetti), the project of 28 schools in Istanbul (with Altieri Group + A.I. Progetti), and the proposal for the Sustainability Pavilion for the Dubai 2020 Expo (with CRA).
Many of his projects have been published in magazines, books, and exposed in prestigious museum or institutions such as the Mint Gallery in London or the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, among others.
Beyond his professional career, Matteo promotes teaching and researching activities. Therefore, he is currently visiting professor at IED, Istituto Europeo di Design in Venice and at the University IUAV of Venice where he teaches advanced 3D modelling and computational design.
Matteo is a registered Architect and member of the Chamber of Architect of Venice (No. 45261/A).
